35 ‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36 naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 38 ‘And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 39 ‘When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 “The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’ Above from Matthew 25:35-40
These words although the derived out of the Christian bible, transcend all religions or beliefs. The essence of our existence is laid upon each other. The creator has laid upon us the obligation to take care of each other. If there is someone hungry we should feed them. It is our obligation or duty to help other people that are in need. I realize there are charitable organizations, but some charitable organizations have limitations or guidelines which dictate whom should get assistance. I say continue to give to organized charities. However, an urgent need could better addressed by that neighbor, friend or anyone whom have knowledge of a needy circumstance.
One Voice
I believe we are only as great as the least among us. Genuine concern for others will bring about real change. The type of change that is not written or mandated, but interwoven within the fabric of ourselves and our society.

The Change in Society Starts Inside of Us
The voice within each of us is truly who we are as an individual and who we are collectively. Although the intuitive attributes within each of us can sometimes be completely hidden; we all can be agents for positive intuitive changes within our society. In other words, we should all search our heart and elevate ourselves to that place of genuine concern and empathy for others. This is the type of change that transcend all beliefs, race etc for the good of us all. I do realize this sounds utopian, but what will it hurt. We are all in this melting pot together and it is paramount that we all work on a recipe for positive and real change in our society.
